An incentive for active participation

The World Travel Journalism Organization (WTJO), promoter of the award, established since its second edition a criterion that especially values the commitment of the nominees to the event. In this sense, those who attend the ceremony in person receive extra points added to the score given by the jury. This bonus not only recognizes the effort of those who travel and actively participate in the gathering but also seeks to strengthen the spirit of community and collaboration among colleagues from different parts of the world.

Winners revealed live

Unlike other awards, the names of the winners in each category are announced on the stage, in real time, making the ceremony a moment of excitement, anticipation, and shared celebration. This dynamic enriches the experience and further highlights the importance of being present.

Beyond its symbolic value, attendance allows participants to exchange experiences, build networks, showcase their work, and be part of an event that goes beyond protocol to become an act of mutual recognition and professional strengthening.

Full schedule

The event will take place between August 25 and September 7, 2025, in Nariño, Colombia, with binational activities that also include a visit to Ecuador. To facilitate logistics, interested parties must complete a form indicating their commitment to participate:
