Open Passport Award presented Its 12th edition in Panama and announced Campos do Jordão as the 2026 host

Within the framework of the 11th Open Passport Award, held in Panama City, the 12th edition of this renowned international award was officially presented. The upcoming edition will take place in Campos do Jordão, Brazil, from November 23 to 30, 2026.  

The announcement generated great anticipation among attendees, as it was confirmed that the event will be held in one of the most iconic tourist destinations in the South American country, known for its European-inspired architecture, its natural surroundings in the Serra da Mantiqueira, and especially for hosting one of Brazil’s most distinctive Christmas celebrations.

Organizers revealed that this new edition promises numerous surprises, immersive experiences, and exclusive activities that will allow participants to experience up close the unique Christmas season of Campos do Jordão,a time when the city is transformed with lights, themed decorations, cultural performances, and a special agenda designed for both visitors and the local community.   

The 12th edition of the Open Passport  will also seek to further deepen its spirit of cultural exchange, recognition of regenerative tourism initiatives, and the strengthening of international ties, consolidating the award as a platform that connects destinations, tourism professionals, and communicators on a global scale.
