Over 40 international travel journalists experience the flavors of Pasto at Plaza Colorado

In a gesture that strengthens the international recognition of the destination, more than 40 tourism journalists from the World Travel Journalism Organization (WTJO) recently visited Plaza Colorado Restaurante Bar, located at Calle 18 #53-58, Torobajo neighborhood in Pasto. The event became a gastronomic and cultural experience that international media will highlight as part of the region’s living heritage.

This welcoming restaurant-bar, opened in August 2022, stands out for its grill-based menu and its vibrant, contemporary atmosphere. Among its specialties are dishes like la  Chuleta Valluna (cerdo apanado con plátano maduro y queso ), la  Chicharrón Sureño, la  Parrillada Tres Carnes, and el  Frito Pastuso. It also offers seafood options such as  Mojarra frita, el Arroz a la marinera, and la Cazuela Galeras , showcasing the region’s rich culinary tradition.
