Progress in the construction of the Greater Caribbean Multidestination Tourism Network: International Webinar on sustainable regional tourism

This Saturday, May 10, from 2:00 to 3:30 p.m., the International Webinar titled “Public and Private Mechanisms Needed to Advance a Sustainable and Competitive Multidestination Tourism Model with Regional Cultural Tourism Routes” will take place — a key space for dialogue and coordination in support of tourism development in Colombia’s Greater Caribbean region.

The event is part of the efforts led by the Regional Tourism Corporation of the Greater Caribbean, an emerging initiative that has already brought together over a hundred public and private stakeholders from various departments across the country. Its main goal is to develop a Multidestination Tourism Network that links more than 25 municipalities and cities through theRuta Macondo , a biocultural and integrative project aiming to internationally promote the natural, cultural, and narrative richness of the Colombian Caribbean.

The webinar will focus on how public and private sectors can collaborate to strengthen regional cultural tourism routes, ensuring sustainability, competitiveness, and territorial cohesion. Experts and representatives from national and international organizations interested in collaborative and inclusive tourism models will participate.
