The World Travel Journalism Organization (WTJO) informs that registrations are now open for all its members interested in participating in two major international events: the 10th edition of the Open Passport Award and the 14th International Congress of Journalists and Tourism Professionals, which this year will be held under the theme "Biosociocultural Dialogues for Transformation."
The event will take place between August 25 and September 7, 2025, in Nariño, Colombia, with binational activities that will also include a visit to Ecuador. To facilitate logistics, those interested must complete a form confirming their commitment to participate:
Participants should arrive at Antonio Nariño Airport, Pasto, on the morning of August 25 and return from Cali on the night of September 7, as the journey will end in el municipio de Candelaria, Valle del Cauca, with a group transfer to the Cali airport that same afternoon. Alternatively, travel can be arranged via Cali, combining a land trip to Pasto.
The flight ticket must be sent by June 30, 2025, to ensure participation at miguelledhesma@gmail.com. At the destination, participants will be provided with accommodation, meals, and tours, including the cross-border visit to Ecuador, which is part of the scheduled itinerary.
