Within the framework of Brazil’s outstanding participation at the Anato Tourism Showcase, the coastal destination of São Sebastião (São Paulo) has captured the attention of tour operators, specialized media, and industry professionals, positioning itself as one of the new focal points of international tourism.
The destination, a strategic ally of the World Travel Journalism Organization, has developed an intensive promotional agenda highlighting its natural, cultural, and sustainable identity, reinforcing Brazil’s image as a country of enormous territorial and experiential diversity.
Its participation has helped broaden the traditional tourism narrative, demonstrating that Brazil’s offer goes beyond consolidated icons such as Rio de Janeiro, and making way for destinations that combine authenticity, environmental preservation, and quality of life.
During the fair, destination representatives presented its potential in nature tourism, responsible coastal experiences, local culture, and proposals aimed at travelers who are increasingly interested in less crowded territories. The response from industry professionals was especially positive, with strategic meetings focused on generating new routes, commercial partnerships, and joint promotional projects.
The presence of São Sebastião also strengthens Brazil’s regional positioning in the Latin American market, particularly in Colombia, where interest in differentiated and sustainable tourism experiences continues to grow.
With this participation, the destination consolidates its international projection and integrates more strongly into the map of emerging territories redefining contemporary tourism in Latin America.
The message conveyed by its presence at Anato is clear: Brazil is not a single landscape nor a single experience, but rather a mosaic of destinations inviting travelers to discover new ways of traveling, feeling, and connecting with the territory.
