The 15.º Congreso Internacional de Periodistas y Profesionales del Turismo will be held in Caxias do Sul, Brazil

From November 2 to 7, 2025, the city of Caxias do Sul will host the 15.º Congreso Internacional de Periodistas y Profesionales del Turismo, under the inspiring theme:

“Turismo que move, história que inspira: 150 anos de conexões e desenvolvimento”.

This internationally significant event will bring together travel journalists, communicators, academics, and professionals from across the tourism sector and various countries to reflect on the role of tourism as a driver of social transformation and cultural preservation.

The choice of Caxias do Sul is no coincidence: in 2025, Brazil will commemorate 150 years since Italian immigration—a legacy that has deeply shaped the identity, history, and development of the region. The congress will pay tribute to these roots and the many historical connections that have fueled both local and national tourism growth.

In addition to the Congress itself, attending journalists will participate in guided tours to explore the region. The World Travel Journalism Organization  invites all those interested in purposeful tourism, transformative storytelling, and sustainable development to take part in this unique gathering.
