Villa Gesell hosted the 5th Forum of Journalists and Tourism Leaders

With a strong turnout, the 5th Forum of Journalists and Tourism Leaders was held in Villa Gesell, organized by the World Travel Journalism Organization (WTJO), in collaboration with the local government and the Villa Gesell Hotel and Gastronomy Business Chamber. The event took place at the Parque Bonito Hotel and brought together more than 50 attendees, including specialized journalists, tour guides, and businesspeople from various parts of the country.


The event featured the participation of Villa Gesell's mayor, Gustavo Barrera; the Director of Tourism, Natalia Megías; the president of the Hotel and Gastronomy Business Chamber, Carlos Corda; the founder and president of the World Travel Journalism Organization (WTJO), Miguel Ledhesma; and the directors of the organization for Argentina, María Ulivi and Bernardo Sabisky.


During the day, three key training sessions were offered to strengthen the sector: “Tourism neurojournalism,” led by Miguel Ledhesma; “Travel journalism and artificial intelligence”; and “How to attract clients and sell more,” both of which were given by Bernardo Sabisky.


During the forum, it was also announced that the next World Digital Solidarity Day will take place on June 6, marking the occasion for the sixth edition of this international forum, which will be held in the town of Candelaria, Colombia.
