World Travel Journalism Organization presents prOMPT, a guide to discovering emerging destinations

As part of the celebration of its fifteen-year trajectory, the World Travel Journalism Organization announced the launch of prOMPT, the guide to emerging destinations, an editorial project that proposes a new way to look at, narrate, and understand territories. The initiative combines journalistic rigor, territorial sensitivity, and innovation, with the aim of highlighting destinations that are shaping new ways of being seen and experienced.

In its first issue, prOMPT focuses on the ABC,Argentina, Brazil, and Colombia, three countries that encompass geographical, cultural, and social diversity in constant transformation. The guide presents a carefully curated selection of emerging destinations that stand out not only for their tourist appeal but also for their community processes, local identity, and sustainable development strategies.

Unlike traditional guides, prOMPT does not limit itself to listing places or services. Each destination is approached through a contextual narrative that integrates history, present-day realities, and future prospects, providing readers with tools to understand the territory beyond a superficial experience. The project also seeks to create a space for reflection on the role of travel journalism in a global context shaped by technological, social, and environmental changes.

The launch of prOMPT is part of the celebrations for the fifteen-year anniversary of the World Travel Journalism Organization, an institution that since its creation has promoted an ethical, responsible, and transformative view of tourism. With this new guide, the organization reaffirms its commitment to editorial innovation and to creating narratives that add value, depth, and meaning to the travel experience.

The prOMPT guide is presented as a tool for journalists, communicators, tourism professionals, and curious travelers who seek to discover emerging destinations from a critical and sensitive perspective, aligned with the challenges and opportunities of contemporary tourism.
